There is an increasing demand for Park Models, also known as Tiny Homes, and it isn’t hard to see why. But the question many ask is, what is the Park Model? In essence, they are a stationary RV. They must be delivered to a site and are intended to be used in one spot for an extended period of time. Their uses are varied, often being used as a cottage or cabin, as a secondary residence, but also used as accommodations for a work camp. Many have begun to see the benefits to using them as an in-law suite or even for B&B opportunities.
The Park Model is different from a typical RV in that they don’t have holding tanks, they are required to be connected to sewer and power. They have all the amenities of home, kitchen area, living spaces, bathrooms, bedrooms and sometimes even a loft space for an office or second bedroom.
